Deciding Your Space

How do I rent a storage unit?

We have designed our website to make renting a storage unit fast and easy online. However, you are most definitely welcome to walk in and rent in person or call us at 479-876-8282 to rent by telephone.

What size units do you have?

Our facility has sizes 5'x5', 5"x10', and 10'x15' and are approximately 8' tall.

Do you have climate controlled units?

No. We have plans to build climate controlled units soon so keep an eye out!

What is drive-up access?

All of our units are located outside with drive-up access. This allows for you to pull a vehicle directly up to your unit in order to load and unload.

Do you offer RV/boat/car/motorcycle parking?

At this time we have some open air parking spaces. These spaces are not covered. Please contact the office at 479-876-8282 to see if any of these units will work for you and if any are available.

Moving In

Does Gentry's Best Storage provide locks?

No. We do not provide locks on-site but you can purchase a new, sealed lock from the provider of your choice or at our business office which is located at 10620 Hwy 72 W, Bentonville, AR 72712.

Do you have trucks available to rent for moving?

No. We do not have trucks on-site but we do have a truck at our Bentonville facility that is available to use. To inquire about details please call our business office at 479-876-8282. We also have U-Haul equipment available for rent at our business office which is located at 10620 Hwy 72 W, Bentonville, AR 72712. Because our inventory varies day to day, it is best to call our office at 479-876-8282 to see what trucks and other equipment are available during the time you will need.

Security and Access

When can I access my self storage unit?

Our property is accessible 7 days a week, 365 days a year via our punch pad gate access system. Upon rental of a storage unit, you will be given your own personal gate code that will allow you to access your unit any time any day.

What are access hours versus office hours?

During access hours, you can use your gate code to access your storage unit. Gentry's Best Storage is open 24 hours a day 365 days a year for access. During office hours, staff members are available to provide in-person customer service and assist you by answering questions, renting units, accepting payments, selling supplies, and assisting you in any other way you may need. Office hours vary.

Does Gentry's Best Storage provide any kind of security?

At this time we are in the process of adding security measures to the facility. These measures include security cameras at the gate, kiosk, and around the facility as well as strategically placed lighting throughout the facility.

Can my spouse or children have access to my unit?

You are most certainly allowed to let family members access your unit. We just ask that you call or email the office and let staff know that an unknown person will be on the property and has permission to access your unit.

 If I forget my access code, what do I do?

You may come by the business office or call the business office at 479-876-8282 during office hours and a staff member will assist you.

Lease Terms

Do you rent month-to-month or do I have to sign a long term lease?

Our rental contracts are month-to-month agreements. No long term lease is required. However, if you know you are going to be renting for an extended period of time be sure to contact staff at 479-876-8282 to discuss long-term lease incentives.

What kind of documentation do I need in order to rent a unit?

You will need a valid, government-issued form of identification such as a driver's license, state ID, or passport.

Do you require me to carry insurance on my stored goods?

No. We do not require that you carry insurance on your unit but you are responsible for the items you store at Bentonville's Best Storage. Some renters rely on a personal existing insurance policy. However, we do offer insurance on goods that you store in our units. If you are interested in acquiring insurance, please contact the business office at 479-876-8282.

How do I move out?

You are required to notify Gentry's Best Storage in writing at least 10 days prior to move-out date.


Do you have automatic payment options?

Yes. You can sign up for autopay with our staff upon move-in or any time during your stay. We can automatically deduct your monthly charges from a credit card, debit card, or bank account. You can also make one-time monthly payments using our convenient online billing and payment option when you log in to your account.

I don't want to pay online. Can I pay in person?

Yes. You can pay in-person at our business office located at 10620 Hwy 72 W, Bentonville, AR 72712 during office hours with cash, check, or credit/debit card.

What if I'm late making my payment?

We bill monthly and payments are due on the 1st of the month. There is a 5 day grace period before charging a late fee of $10 on the 6th of the month. If you do not pay by the 10th of the month you will be charged an additional $20 late fee. You will be suspended from gate access on the 15th of the month.
